Sonny (Te Arawa, Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Raukawa, Te Awa Tupua, Ngāi Tahu) is a BE(Hons) graduate and final year doctoral candidate at Waipapa Taumata Rau | University of Auckland. As a final year doctoral candidate, Sonny joined the BSK team as a Graduate Structural Engineer in March 2026. In his spare time, Sonny progresses his doctoral study. You can also find Sonny outdoors paddling on the lake, running in the Redwoods, or doing mahi at the marae.
